Abstract
This paper describes a novel high speed varactor tuned evanescent (EV) mode hopping filter operating at C-Band. The 6 /spl mu/sec tuning speed is compatible with military frequency-hopping applications. Loss compensation is provided by variable gain MMIC amplifiers between 3-pole filter sections.
