Overview of communication in global software development process

Global software development (GSD) process is a growing focus for researchers. Although there are many challenges in GSD process, there are also some advantages with GSD process. As for these challenges, there are some kinds of communications to reduce these challenges and improve the probability of success of GSD. This paper presents an overview of communication in GSD process, and describes some key issues of communication related with activities in GSD process, and some communication enabling techniques and tools, and then it highlights some key issues of communication in future.
