Abstract :
Recent advances in technology for energy generation and new directions in electricity regulation have made distributed generation (DG) more widespread, with significant impacts on the operational characteristics of distribution networks. For this reason, new methods for identifying such impacts are needed together with research and development of new tools and resources, in order to maintain and facilitate the continued expansion towards DG. This paper presents a study aimed at the optimal DG sitting, according to an appropriate choice of parameters used in a multicriteria analysis. The parameters in analysis will be evaluated by specific software. The multicriteria method developed in this paper take as basis the fuzzy logic and the Bellman-Zadeh algorithm. The methodology presented in this paper allows that energy supplying companies may guarantee the appropriate selection of their own parameters, according to optimal DG sitting. This also allows a structural rethinking of the electric utility, thus improving more flexibility to distribution system planning.
