  • Abstract
    Converting Chinese pronunciation into mouth shape is helpful for people to learn Chinese pronunciation exactly, and for the deaf-mute to excise Chinese pronunciation. It is also an important way to visualizing pronunciation. In this research, one software which converts Chinese pronunciation into mouth shapes been designed on the multimedia technology and Object-Oriented technology. The software based on database of mouth shape of Chinese pronunciation and the database of Chinese Pinyin. These databases were established on the relationship between mouth shape of Chinese pronunciation and Chinese Pinyin. The design based on calling for Chinese character internal code, on Microsoft SAPI5 speech SDK and on speech recognition technology.
