Research and exploration on the practical teaching in veterinary medicine profession

With the development of animal husbandry in Henan Province, as well as advances in production technology, quality requirements for excellent talents in animal husbandry and veterinary are gradually improved, graduates´ innovative spirit and practical ability must be faced seriously by educators. This article discussed the characteristics of medical practice teaching, deeply analyzed the problems; from the training program, laboratory teaching, teaching practice, comprehensive practical activities, awareness of innovation, strengthening the internal and external training base functions and other aspects, proposed the construction of application-oriented education curriculum, highlighting the practical capacity-building in the heart of the curriculum system. From the teaching program, learning activities and assessment mechanisms, this article also put forward measurements to strengthen applied training of technical personnel in veterinary medicine profession.
