Abstract
The effects of the external electric fields upon action potential of cardiac cells are studied in this paper. Results indicate that external electric fields can influence the current of sodium ions channel by adding an induced component voltage on membrane, which might be the reason of heart rate anomaly under the high-voltage electric fields.
