Abstract :
The effectiveness of an interactive graphics software structure for designing output feedback control laws via a parameter optimization method is described. The structure utilizes a dynamic plot of costs versus iterations coupled with a database that maintains information regarding intermediate solutions for restarting purposes. Interactive synchronous and asynchronous devices are used when intervention in the optimization process is required.
