The application of synthetic features in image retrieval

With the development of multimedia technology and the coming of information era, people have been frequently exposed to a lot of image information, so how to effectively organize, manage and retrieve large image database has been an urgent demand. The related problems of synthetic features in image retrieval were investigated from the importance and concept of Content-based image retrieval. Finally, the thought and methods of Content-based image synthetic features retrieval was summed up by adopting color, texture, shape and other characteristics of the integrated features of the image.
