Abstract :
This paper presents an algorithm of hole filling in triangle mesh. There are four steps in this algorithm. First, the hole´s boundary information is obtained by the relations of vertex, edge and angle in the triangle mesh. Secondly, the hole is directly filled by triangles according to the order of the angles in the hole. Thirdly, the new triangles with high curvature are divided. Finally, adjust the filled mesh according to the surrounding mesh. Experimental results show the proposed algorithm is efficient and stable, and holes with complicated shape can be filled smoothly.
