Abstract :
The measurement of partial discharges (PDs) at high frequency working voltages is considered. It is shown how test voltages of rather high frequency (up to 100 kHz) with a maximum peak value of 6 kVp can be generated. The PD test method at these frequencies is also described. Test results for optocouplers and coated printed circuit boards (PCBs) are discussed
