Abstract
This study demonstrated for the first time the printing of water-soluble carbon nanotube (CNT) using electrostatic inkjet printing and the field emission from the printed CNT. The emission current obtained was about 10 muA which is high enough for field emission display (FED) appication. We also found that the water-soluble CNT can be printed using a needle-type inkjet head when the wettability of the solution is improved.
