Abstract :
In order to further improve the measure precision of FOG north-seeker, a new north determining scheme according to the traditional two-position north determining scheme was proposed. First, analyze the principle of FOG north-seeker and the main errors that effect the north determining precision, emphasize the influences caused by the position error and floor lopsided error , and discuss the models of two kinds of errors. Experiment datas show that, ulitizing the best work position near 90° and 270°,and using weighted average arithmetic to aviod the FOG error in the insensitive area,the north determining precision was ranged from 1.9´ to 1.4´ .The new measure makes a breakthrough in the north determining scheme, improves the measure precision of FOG north-seeker.
