After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

The chemical modification of alginate-chitosan microcapsule in order to improve its biocompatibility was investigated. The results showed that the chemical modification of alginate-chitosan microcapsule using polyethylene glycol (PEG) did not affect the membrane-formation capability, but the biocompatibility of microcapsules was improved. Moreover, a dynamic method on viability determination of microencapsulated cells using Alamar Blue Assay was studied and testified feasible.
