Abstract
Electrophysiological target localization is the key technology in microelectrode-guided stereotactic neurosurgery for Parkinson´s disease (PD). A signal analysis method based on Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) was introduced to identify target and microelectrode location. By decomposing the clinic microelectrode recording (MER) of PD into intrinsic mode functions (IMFs), and the marginal spectrums of IMFs were achieved by Hilbert transform, and the characteristic factor of brain neuron structures of microelectrode track intraoperatively was extracted. The results show that HHT can help us to distinguish operation target and brain tissue structure.
