Abstract :
Control system design using adaptive filters defined in the frequency domain is described. Results are used from a previous paper to facilitate microprocessor implementation of a feedback control system. Conceptual modifications of the basic frequency domain, fast transform algorithm which reduce loop delay and processing requirements are described. It is shown that a recursive, adaptive controller operating in the time domain results by extending frequency domain filter design concepts.
