Abstract
In this paper we introduce Laccole, an agent communication language for computer supported collaborative learning and the respective protocols for the coordination and cooperation of software agents and learners working in these kinds of networked environments. Laccole has been designed for the communication between software agents that assist the learners in their communication, collaboration and knowledge application. We also present the protocols for the interaction of our agents that support the effective collaboration and learning of students working together in a network, as well as the assistance and knowledge negotiation protocols between the software agents and the learners
