Abstract
In this paper, a digital photographic method was developed to measure the concentration of ambient black carbon. Encouraging results showed when comparing the transmittance of BC particle layer measured by digital photographic method to transmittance measured by a laser transmissometer. We also discussed the detection limits and uncertainty of this method in this paper.
