Abstract
A multichannel multiaccess slotted ALOHA protocol is introduced and analyzed for very high-speed optical fiber LANs with passive star topology using several wavelengths as control channels. We examine the efficiency of the proposed protocol and evaluate the performance measures for an infinite population. Numerical results are discussed for various number of control and data channels
