Abstract :
A general algebraic solution to the problem of regulation of linear systems over arbitrary commutative rings by dynamic output feedback is given. This extends the theory of regulation for such systems. Furthermore, the notion of row (column) regularity for polynomial matrices over Bezout domains is introduced. This concept simplifies the regulation problem considerably for these rings.
