Abstract
The economic challenge around the reduction and optimization of product development is important for industrial companies. The modern enterprise depends upon timely and effectively flows of knowledge through its organizations for success. The growing focus on knowledge management is leveraged by rapidly advancing information technology and, more importantly, driven by fundamental structural change and transformation towards information driven organizations. This paper presents an overview of different research works in the knowledge management domain based on multi agent systems and their contributions under the angle of the knowledge life cycle process.
