Abstract :
There are frequent accidents at the Liuxia section of the highway around Hangzhou City, that is from the 68th kilometer to the 75th kilometer. We consider creating a model of the road in Vissim, a program of traffic simulation, collecting the parameters of vehicles and analyzing the data in Matlab. Taking the standard deviation of vehicle speed as main referred index, the speed of vehicles at the section is limited, where the standard deviation is high.
