Abstract :
Describes a hierarchical algorithm for the computation of dense displacement fields from a pair of images. The algorithm uses local phase from band-pass filters rather than image brightness to establish a correspondence between the images. The main contribution of this paper is that it describes how to combine orientation and scale specific measurements into a flowfield without ad hoc assumptions
