Abstract :
We have demonstrated the world´s first IEEE1394 S200 infrared (IR) wireless adapter and verified its operation. Our adapters enable us to communicate using low cost devices with sufficient eye-safety margin. Further, we have indicated a design approach to reach a transmission distance of 10 m while keeping an easy alignment property.
