Abstract :
We present some of our latest works in manipulating thermal electromagnetic fields. As examples, we demonstrate experimentally that thermal emission of a finite macroscopic emitter can be enhanced beyond the apparent blackbody limit through a thermal extraction scheme. We also present designs that enable daytime radiative cooling.
