  • Abstract
This paper presents a switched-capacitor CMOS bandgap reference generator with correlated double sampling (CDS) techniques. The proposed circuit uses a low-gain amplifier to generate an accurate reference voltage so that this structure can be implemented in low-voltage environment. Furthermore, the proposed design doesn´t require highly accurate on-chip resistors to ensure the performance of the bandgap circuit. In addition, the proposed bandgap circuit is able to produce any output voltage between supply voltage and ground. The proof-of-concept circuit was designed and simulated in 0.18-μm CMOS technology. The simulation results show that the temperature coefficient of bandgap reference is 13.29 ppm/°C in the temperature range from -40°C to 100 °C. The average power consumption is about 24.6 μW.
