Abstract :
The paper includes a proposal for oil spill confinement using Autonomous Marine Surface Vehicles (AMSVs). The proposal includes a mathematical model of the system and a navigation system based on the Null Space Based behavioral control. The study is made through realistic simulations that closely mimic an experimental platform. The results show the validity of the proposal for automatic spill confinement using two underactuated vessels.
