Abstract
In this paper, a fuzzy associative memory scheme is thoroughly investigated and modified. Based on the existing fuzzy associative memory structure and algorithms, a genetic algorithm was used to adjust the parameters in the membership function of the fuzzy controller. Simulation experiments based on the inverted pendulum have proved the feasibility and adaptability of the new scheme
