Abstract :
The function of computer-based modules for teaching introductory courses in electric circuit theory and electronics is discussed. Two projects for developing modular architectures and tools that can produce such modules are described. One project is producing modules in the fundamentals of electrical engineering, establishing future standards, and addressing issues of organization and distribution. The other concerns the development of computer-based intelligent tutoring and testing modules. Two modules have been produced to demonstrate the ease of module production and efficacy of their tutoring
