Abstract :
The review report deals with the experimental and theoretical studies of new phenomena registered (the nontraditional temperature shift Eg(T), the change of exciton-phonon interaction and the giant thermodynamical optical effect). The results are discussed on the basis of exciton-phonon interaction and the ferroelastic phase transition. The optical active devices are proposed.
