  • Abstract
Improvements of left ventricular systolic and diastolic functions were documented in patients with severe cardiomyopathies for more than 3 years after dynamic cardiomyoplasty. This procedure may halt the steady evolution of the underlying disease and improve quality of life and survival of patients with congestive heart failure.
