Possibility for improvements of energy efficiency in telecommunications networks

In this paper, impact of power consumption from different parts of telecommunications networks to telco-operator´s costs is considered. Different models and strategic aspects of decreasing power consumption and improving energy efficiency is exposed, as well as technics for energy efficancy´s management in existing segments of telecomnetworks. This paper actuate importance of energetic efficiancy for sustainable operator´s business with attention on situation in Serbia.
