Abstract :
This paper analyzes new type of hybrid cables (STFK: Signal-Telecommunication-Fiber optics Kable), where cable core is consisted of cooper pairs combined with HDPE micro ducts intended for insertion of micro fiberoptic cables during cable installation on the site. STFK hybrid cable is produced and tested in cable factory “Novkabel”. The cables are intended for use in railways, gas and oil pipeline systems.
