Abstract
This paper begins with the investigation of the adaptive technologies for high speed WLAN (Wireless local Area Network) systems. A system model of MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) WLAN is built, on the basis of which, a novel modulation scheme with adaptive margin is proposed. With the simulation results, we can see that the proposed algorithm can improve the BER (Bit Error Rate) character over different channel environments, such as the quasistatic channel, the multi-path channel and the MIMO correlation channel.
