Abstract
In this paper, breast cancer detection using Ultra Wide Band (UWB) Confocal Imaging Techniques are considered with conventional averaging technique. A new averaging technique is proposed and applied on UWB-confocal imaging techniques. From simulation results and based on observation of images, the proposed averaging technique has produced a stable power images compared to the conventional averaging technique which produced an unstable power images. The problem of tumor detection in fibroglandular/fibroconnection tissues region for UWB-confocal imaging techniques is still existed but improvement in the detection has been achieved.
