Abstract :
The selection of high-activity catalyst is usually tedious work. The fractal model seems to provide a new method to describe catalyst activation because it has natural relations with the 3-D surface. The catalysts can be automatically classified as high-activity or low-activity according to their activation by utilizing the fractal dimension property of the catalyst surface images
