Abstract
Deals with the recognition mechanisms of printed music scores. The techniques for extracting linear features, keys, noteheads and other musical figures from a digitized image are presented. Experimental results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methodology with a discussion of its performances and limits. Applications to full automated music score extraction, printed or handwritten are also discussed
