Abstract :
Shanghai shipping center is a national strategy. In this study, from the perspective of industrial clustering to analyze the issue of building the shipping center. London as a world-recognized international shipping center which is worth studying. but there is a large gap between the two regions. Spatial Gini coefficient is used to calculate industrial agglomeration degree of the shipping industry, the results show that Shanghai in the country with the highest degree of concentration, and concentration level of China´s shipping industry increase the last three years, but too slow. Measure the differentiation of industrial chain distribution among Shanghai shipping industrial cluster by GIS and Tell index the researchers found that the distribution of Shanghai shipping industry more concentrated in the lower and middle reaches of the labor-intensive, based on this for industrial upgrading, industrial development recommendations.
