Abstract :
The millimeter-wave (mm-wave) specific feature which is volumetric heating has been applied to various powder materials. Since powder materials are distinguished by an extremely low thermal conductivity, conventional heating methods are difficult and extremely time consuming. This paper gives the recent results obtained by mm-wave processing of Al2O3, and kaolinite powder materials.
