Abstract
The longitudinal characteristics of a wave propagating through random media have been studied by the Huygens principle and generalizing a transform proposed by T.H. Legg (see Proc.IEEE AP, vol.6, p.1230-5, 2003). It is found that the coherence between the double frequencies and the moment of the random field of any order can be obtained by the longitudinal measurement.
