Abstract :
We discuss a framework for dealing with singular optimal control for descriptor systems which depends on stable algorithms to reveal the structure of the problem and then solution of a Riccati equation. Preliminary results are given concerning the regularity, stability, and nonimpulsiveness of the optimal steady-state closed-loop system.
