Abstract :
Fourier-Bessel (FB) series expansion of a given function has been in use to solve certain boundary value problems. Attempt had been made to utilize the FB series expansion coefficients to characterize certain class of signals [2]. This paper describes a fast and accurate algorithm for evaluating the FB series coefficients using interpolated FFT values of the given function. Reconstructed values of the test functions from the expansion coefficients indicate good accuracy of the algorithm.
