Abstract :
We show that design limitations due to non-minimum phase (NMP) zeros of an analog plant remain present in sampled-data feedback systems with periodic digital (PD) controllers. Furthermore, the action of the periodic controller induces harmonics within the baseband and increases differential sensitivity to plant variations
