  • Abstract
    A linear quadratic optimal control system is described and applied to flight control system design. By the parametric two-degree-of-freedom controller configuration, the multivariable linear quadratic optimal system design is developed and its application to the flight control of the longitudinal motion for aircraft is also illustrated
