Abstract
We study the decentralized stabilization problem of linear time-invariant large scale interconnected systems with delays. We obtain a sufficient decentralization condition for unforced systems and use this analysis result to obtain a decentralized state-feedback controller using standard H∞ control theory. We also obtain a decentralized observer for the interconnected system
