Abstract :
Virtualization technology brings us a lot of benefits, but the loss in performance hindered its more widespread application. This paper studies the communication process between hardware-assisted virtualization domains to identify the performance bottleneck, proposes and implements a method to enhance inter-domain communication performance. In the new method, the inter-domain communication path bypasses the domain 0, achieves high-speed data transmission between domains through the shared memory. The new method reduces the data transmission path, improves the communication latency and bandwidth, reduces the number of domain switch, and significantly improves the performance.
