Abstract
The signal distortion and restoration of Gauss pulse and rectangle pulses when they propagate through the ionosphere of the Mars are presented. A modified matched filter is proposed for the restoration of Gauss pulses. The restoration of rectangle pulse can be done by measuring the total electron content using the I-Q channels.
