Abstract
This paper aims at the development of a descriptive one-dimensional model of a combustion chamber, for nitrogen oxides control purposes. The modelling activity is developed in two steps. A model of the flame and of the gas fluxes in the combustion chamber is firstly developed; then the model of the nitrogen oxides production is worked out. Validation tests show good performance of the model in interpreting nitrogen oxides outlet concentration experimental data
