Abstract
A computer model of radar oscillator phase noise based on the simplified oscillator output function defined by D.G. Leeson (1966) is derived. The Leeson model is extended to generate a computer model which includes an accurate power spectral density representation of the actual phase noise output given a white noise input. The computer model representation of the output phase noise power spectral density is compared with Leeson´s equation and with measured data
