Virtual Classroom(R) and distance learning at New Jersey Institute of Technology

The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is transforming its undergraduate engineering curriculum with the aid of grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and DARPA/TRP. A key aspect of this transformation is the development and integration of technology-based learning tools to make student learning more effective and efficient. This is facilitated by NJIT´s long experience with various forms of distance learning technologies, including its Virtual Classroom^(R) concept
