Abstract
The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is transforming its undergraduate engineering curriculum with the aid of grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and DARPA/TRP. A key aspect of this transformation is the development and integration of technology-based learning tools to make student learning more effective and efficient. This is facilitated by NJIT´s long experience with various forms of distance learning technologies, including its Virtual Classroom(R) concept
