Abstract :
Mass rapid transit (MRT) systems require high service continuity and usually perform load transfer strategies in case of power system contingencies. A traditional Petri-net (PN) model as well as the associated colored Petri-net (CPN) model are developed for the bulk supply substation(BSS) and the traction supply substation (TSS) in this paper. Based on the proposed models and the operation rules, the forward reasoning network for MRT load transfer is created. The object-oriented and rule-based expert system shell CLIPS is exploited in this study. It is shown that the structure of the CPN model is dramatically simpler than that of the PN model. The computer simulation on the Taipei MRT power system shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.
